Adam, I wouldnt swear to it, but I am pretty shure it's one of Dave Stazicks Twister trucks, I had the second one which had all Pettibone axles, but the chassis looks just like mine did. Chad

Is it me or do they have the motor and tranny mounted diagonally??? Look at the oil pan and then the transfer case. It looks to me like they swung the tail end of the tranny/transfer all the way over to the passenger side in order to mate up with the 2.5ton transfer. I am guessing due to the offset on the drivelines??? I guess there is more than one way to skin a cat as they say.........I am guessing that Leo is going to do that with his new truck:D Just kidding Leo.

Notice how much they ground out of the knuckle for the wheels to clear. Yup that'll break break with a little use.

Why rip up a $40,000 new truck or what ever, maybe more only to put the body on $15,000 rusted frame? It would have been much cheaper to buy the frame, build a cage and then set a fiberglass body on top. Same affect.

I was going to say them rims need more back spacing there is not enough clearance. An them knuckles being ground down. That would not have worked out well if they still used it for demo car crushes one good hit an "SNAP"

Thanks for clearing that up!!!:D I guess I could have looked at the tires to realize that was the back of the truck................. At any rate, the gas tank is crooked then:D

Seeing as back spacing is measured from the back of the rim, he would need less backspacing in order to move the rim out. More backspacing would create even more interference. Just thought I'd clear that up for you.:D
