Jus Show N Off

So, I'm sure this one is pretty odd as it is the only truck show I know of that has ever gone down in Ames, Iowa. It was in 1987 or 1988 at Hilton Coliseum, and in effect it was the first monster truck show that I was ever aware of being in attendance at.
From what my 3-4 year old (at the time) memory still salvages, is that the original Carolina Crusher was there. At least so I think. I think there was '72 or older bodied yellow GM pickup on 66" tires, though it could have been the fresh 88 model, and quite possibly the orange same time period (74ish) Barbarian Ford that ran out of Missouri. I think the event also featured pulling as well, so that may be of potential interest for Jake as a holiday gift for me and him if anyone does have photos from the event. ;)
OT: I've got an old autographed photo of that Barbarian that I need to find and take a pic of for the site, I haven't seen many of it particularly.
Anyways, I guess I'm just looking for any pics or recollections. It was a heck of a big deal at the time, and it was right as I was starting to truly take an interest in cars and monster trucks as a child. :)
