The Original Virginia Beach Beast may be for sale for the right offer. The Original is in great mechanical condition. It has a blown 468 Chevy, dual Predator carbs, built TH400 trans, and is on a 1945 or 1947 (don't know which right off the top of my head) M4 high Speed tractor. AND YES........IT IS OPERATIONAL.

Yes...this is THE FIRST MONSTER TANK EVER BUILT an you can own it! The body needs to be replaced or repaired.....but the mechanical side of it is ROCK SOLID.

WOW...This was the first EVER Monster truck I sat in when i was around 7 or 8 in Tampa...I remember asking if it was a differant one than the blue one or not and he said nope it was the same truck with a new paintjob and i remember it being all blue on the inside and my dad sat and talked with him for a good 30-40 min...MEMORIES thanks for the pics and info I wish I had the $$$...:thumbsup:

So this one was originally blue then repainted red???

Yes, the first started out life Blue and then went to Red.

it's actually the old truck he hauled it with....and yes it was a big block!

Pretty cool to see a piece of MT history going up for sale, I just hope it doesn't go to someone who will butcher it and treat it like some beater.

it was sold to a guy in michigan who has alot of trucks. the other one might be for sale though.

that's cool, I seen it lay over on it's side when I was 9 or 10 here in Oklahoma City at a USHRA show, he backed it over the cars at a weird angle and it went over, I don't think it hurt it very bad though! loved the tanks back then wished they still ran them, I heard the reason they quit running them was the weight, they were tearing the buildings up when they would land
