At work I was listening to our local rock station and Nitro Promos has a show in Coeur d' Alene, ID coming up, and the radio station, and Nitro, has a contest where you can win "Monster Truck driver for a day". NOW i'm not sure if the winner will just get to put around the arena for a bit, or all out race, but I think it kind of takes away from the individualality of being a monster truck driver. What I mean is that we all pretty much know it takes a special someone to drive monster truck, but it kinda bugs me that some Average Joe will be able to jump in the seat and say to all his buddys, "Yeah I drove a monster truck before" like some kind of hotshot.
But maybe I should look on the bright side that SOMEONE will find out its tougher than it looks, and have a new found respect for the sport.
