I've been watching the prices for the original long-card releases of Goldberg, Sting, Nitro Machine, and Grave Digger on eBay, and it seems that they go for around 20 bucks a pop in the package?

I'm just curious about the actual value of these with serious collectors. If anyone has sold or purchased any of these recently, how much did you buy or sell for? I have one of each still on the cards (essentially mint condition, maybe a slightly bent corner on one or two of them, haven't looked at them in a while), and then 4 out of the package, but in excellent condition. I'm not quite looking to sell right now, but I'm definitely curious about what they could bring.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

While they remain at a high price level, the bottom really fell out on them last year. Sets of 4 were pushing $100 consistantly. Then they started drifting off and it was around $20 and even lower at times. I did spot a Goldberg going for like $26 on eBay recently.

The long card Grave Digger is no more valuable than that truck on a different piece of cardboard. Too many millions of them produced. You'd be lucky to even sell it let alone for anything above $3.

Out of the box, prices are all over the place. Usually they wind up in bigger lots of 20-40 trucks and it only averages out to $3-5 a truck. Surprisngly, at least to me, other trucks like LMD, T-Wrex, Black Stallion, iron Warrior, pull in a bigger price tag than the WCW trucks.

The WCW trucks on the short cards have always been more valuable. I bought a Sting a few years back during their high price time for $30. Just got Goldberg and Nitro for $15 each.

My advice would be to hold off selling for anything less than $20 a truck for the boxed ones. While prices have dropped, I don't think they'll stay there. Selling for less only sucks for you and it is just another little kill to the market.
