Monster Truck Freestyle<br />
The rain started and the trucks had trouble the cars were wet and it made it hard to get over the cars . JEFF Gulshon driver for Torqzilla got stuck on a van it took sometime to get him off the van this was his first time to drive Torqzilla not a bad job for a first timer . Jeff King came out in General he did a great job with a very strong Freestyle but it was not strong enough to get him into the finals. Pitbull came and had a outstanding run with big air over the cars and the van he made it to the finals.Bearfoot hit the floor and had a very strong run and the bear walk took him to the finals.<br />

Bearfoot and Pitbull were the last event to run Friday night Pitbull came out and had a ok Freestyle it was not strong enough to take the win from Bearfoot  once again the big air and the Bear walk took Bearfoot to victory.<br />

Pitbull and Bearfoot when the flag droped for this race the drivers were ready and on the edge but Pitbull jumped the line and Bearfoot took the win. This mistake would make for a great freestyle lator on that night.<br />

Monster Truck Freestyle<br />
<br />
It had been a great night for a Monster Truck raceing with Bearfoot taken it all so far it looked like it was going to be his night. This made Pitbull turn it up to his A game and then some . Pitbull comes out on the floor and makes a BIG jump over the cars the heads right for the Bus not even taken time to line up he goes over the Bus and landes on his front tires and rides it for forty feet or better this got the fans pumped up and he went crazy after that . General had a great run and he beat out Bearfoot to go into the Finals but he broke and could not make it back so Bearfoot took his place But he could not take the win from Pitbull.<br />
<br />
Over all this show was a record breaker for Western Slope Motorsports with a sold out crowed all nights and over 100 Mud cars in the show Good Job to the  Catlens and there staff. I look forwared to the next show in Gunnision CO on August the second.<br />

  I was born April 25th, 1969 in rural Missouri.  I attended school in the small towns of Lincoln and Warsaw Missouri.<br />
<br />
  Growing up I was highly active in sports, especially basketball.  And pretty good at them.  Other than sports, my main interest was anything with BIG TIRES!!  My Dad would take me to the local Mid Missouri mudbogs like the Cole Camp Jacees Mud Bog and the Warsaw Mud Marathon.  My uncle used to help with one of the boggers and my best friends Dad owned an El Camino on a Willy's pickup frame they called the &quot;El Jeepo&quot;.  Later my father and a friend would run a 4x4 truck puller.<br />
<br />
  But of course I loved Monster Trucks too.  I caught the bug when they were still on 48&quot;s!  I have stacks of magazines with features on Bigfoot, Bearfoot, King Kong, and USA-1 before the now common 66&quot; tire.  Unlike now days with the internet, cable and satellite, magazines were the only way I could get info on the newest and baddest trucks.  We only went grocery shopping once or twice a month and even though we had very little money, my Mom would always find a way to buy a magazine for me.  If the magazines didnt have monsters that month it would be a sad and anxious wait until the next grocery trip.<br />
<br />
  My favorite truck was always Bearfoot until the sad day it was no longer a Chevy.  Then of course Taurus and USA-1.    <br />
<br />
  After High School Graduation in 1987 I got married and joined the Army as a 93F Field Meteorological Crewmember.  In the Army I had traveled the world a few times and sorta lost site of my love for Monsters.  I have owned a lot of cars but never a 4x4.  But then I bought a 86 Samurai and built it up a little.  Then a 85 GMC Jimmy until it sat on 39.5&quot; Boggers.  And then a 72 Chevy until it sat on 52&quot; tires and military running gear.  NOW my blood is boiling!!  I have to own the biggest baddest truck possible!! Oddly enough it was the War in Iraq that allowed me to build HAWG WILD.  After a year over there I didnt feel guilty about buying the chassis and body to begin my dream of owning a real monster.<br />
<br />
  HAWG WILD is slowly coming together with the help of my friend, crewchief and driver Heath Woods.  Its a budget build (you would s*!t if you really knew just how budget) but with the Heath and other friends there will be no doubt on the quality of the truck.  Hopefully a sponsor will come on board the team soon and this truck will get finished.  The Hawg Wild monster truck will make a great advertising tool for someone!  <br />

  I truly believe that life is to short to sweat all the small things.  Be true to your friends, your family and to yourself.  Follow your dreams, but remember dont forget to have fun doing it!!!</div>

The answer is BlackWidow MotorSports owned by myself Steven Baron &amp; Thrasher MotorSports owned by Pat Summa put forth the funds necessary to purchase and maintain the MonsterMayhem web site's software.  I work with the owners in developing ideas and make suggestions on how to better improve the site for the fans.<br />

As an administrator I do not act upon or inforce the rules of the board other then notifying on of the owners if I see something.<br />
 <br />

Overall Not Bad, but nobody had the nuts to put on an awesome freestyle! I thought that Rick Swanson did do well but still didn't deserve to win. The show wasn't as good as I expected out of King Krunch and El Matador! But it was still good, not complaining to much! The Quad Wars was entertaining and Reptar vs. Galacton definately brought out the kid in some people! And so I went to the buffet's to eat and kill time so I could catch the 7:30 show!<br />

Better show but nothing spectacular, has there always been just 60 Second freestyle's in small arenas? Nobody again had the balls to put up a Digger like freestyle! I hope and pray we get a Digger this year because some of this guys just came out here in freestyle and racing and just rode around just getting their pay check and just because there from the area doesn't mean they need to be at the show every year. But I'll I'm saying is better lineup and make freestyle 90 seconds?</div>

We had a blast... did not have BigFoot this year, but the drivers that did show had a lot of energy and desire to have fun and put on a good show.<br />
