found one on Craigslist like Ive been wanting, its the wrong color right now, but thats not going to be a problem for long.
Its a Western Hauler style hooded Headache Rack, paid $300 for it, the cheapest new rack in this style I could find was built by ACIW and they were wanting $600 for theres, with Southwest Fabricators wanting $750, and Western Hauler asking a smooth $1000 for there version of it, I think I did pretty fair, probably cost a couple hundred to get it repainted, still will have less in it than a new one

There was once a truck pull in the astrodome in which many believed Bigfoot 4 did not leave the line. The reality of the situation is that Bigfoot 4 was chained the the astrodome and moved the entire facility 300 feet.

Paul, paint that yourself and save the money. I know a true texan doesn't let anyone do anything for him.

i may be a fair to middle shade tree mechanic, but when it comes to P&B and Fab work, Im absolutely useless, luckily for me Ive got an Uncle who owns his own body shop and a Cousin who is good at P&B as well and my Dad is a Welder by trade so Ive got all my bases covered there.
I mocked it up today and the mounting brackets that go in the bed pockets are set an inch & 1/2 to far back so me and Dad(mainly Dad lol) will have to knock those off and put new ones on and I also talked to my Uncle and he said he could repaint it for about $150.
    so im not complaining

disassemble, sandblast, powder coat... make sure to get something UV resistant. Easiest way to do it!
