From Adam Anderson's facebook: Addressing all the concerns about Ryan; he is ok, he knocked his head pretty hard and had a very big scare involving his neck but after meeting with a specialist good news is that he will be fine in a few months.

very nice to hear he's ok! thanks for the update and hope he heals fast!
headshots SUCK! trust me i know, just not to the extent that ryan took.
Great to hear that he's ok and it wasn't as bad as it looked(well, sounded in my case) I hope he's better and back on the track soon. And I hope FELD learns something from this, too.
Well, I got a car. not what I was hoping for but it's a great little thing. If anyone in or around the mid-south area needs help with a show or around the shop, shoot me a message! I don't know much about it but I'd love to learn all about it and help out any way possible.

Let's get what we know straight:
1) Ryan IS seriously hurt (a few months recovery is a SERIOUS injury)
2) He WAS NOT in his own truck, and *more than likely* NOT in his own custom fitted ISP seat (SPECULATION)
and last but not least....(drum roll)
3) 90% of you don't know *** you're talking about!
If you'd stop to read my first post, I hinted at the fact that when there is no press release about an incident or it's kept under wraps (which as an "insider" I will tell you first hand that everyone is being unprecedentedly tight lipped) that it is a serious incident.
Notice I did not say accident, this was an incident. The difference between the two is the fact that Ryan went into this situation knowing full well the danger involved. Knowing those guys, he more than likely planned a good portion of it. This was a stunt, no matter how poorly planned you think it may have been, this was a stunt and it was performed by professionals.
Safety changes DO NOT need to be made to the trucks themselves... none of the safety equipment failed from what I can tell, and in fact the safety equipment has repeatedly surpassed my personal expectations.
You guys have to understand that at some point the human body will start to fail, and every person's weak points are not only unpredictable, but constantly changing. Just because one driver walks away from a certain crash does not mean every other driver will, OR that the same driver will be able to withstand the same crash next week. The variable here is the human behind the wheel, not the truck OR the stunt.
Let's keep the BS minimum and just send our well wishes to Ryan and his family... Start a new thread if you want to keep ********.
