Another year, another Monster Jam truck theme survey

You have to choose from both columns. My personal favorite was NHL team (ahem), but I also sent a write-in for IndyCar, just because I would find it awesome. Interested in what everyone else chose.

I didn't see anything I'd want to see as an MT, so I just left it alone. More than anything I'd like to see them bring more old names back.
Well, I got a car. not what I was hoping for but it's a great little thing. If anyone in or around the mid-south area needs help with a show or around the shop, shoot me a message! I don't know much about it but I'd love to learn all about it and help out any way possible.

I think they just compiled a list of recent trends without much forethought. Now personally if any of these concepts saw the light of day, well then I think a massive bonfire of Monster Jam memorabilia is in order. However we've seen this for two years now and nothing has come around.

I could post something witty here, but I decided against it. And now I have wasted your time by making you read this.

There were a few sponsored ideas that I thought were cool on that survey... like Traxxas. I suggested Oakley and GShock... I think they could make cool designs for trucks. Doubt they'll use em' though. Obviously, I don't want this to happen, but If they have a truck with a mohawk on it, what makes you think they wouldn't make a truck with a blowout on the top for Jersey Shore if they got a sponsorship from MTV or something lol Please no though... just a random thought.

If a Yo Gabba Gabba truck comes out of this, I will personally set every monster truck poster, book, t-shirt and video I have on fire.

I selected the Jersey Shore option, because I'm curious to see how similar a 3D Snooki body would be in comparison to the Donkey Kong body.

I think it would have helped to be more descriptive on the titles, and to narrow down the selection of choices a bit.

    Example:

Frankenstein. This could be very cool if done right. Of course, there are numerous ways to think of this. Were they thinking a sculpt of Herman Munster? Were they thinking a stock truck vinyl wrapped with Boris Karlof, or something else? If it were me, my take on "Frankenstein" would be to take the essence of Frankenstein and make a cobbled together looking truck. each fender, door, etc would be bolted/ riveted or use some obvious large "stitching" together. It would be cool if actual pieces of other real/past trucks were on there. Frankenstein's Monster was made with cobbled together pieces, so why not this. It could also change every few races or so, too. It would also be cool to have some kind of "Jacobs ladder" coming out the back.

I also like Gossamer. Again, the execution would make or break this. Maybe this one would need a semi sculpt a'la Taz, but it would need long loose fur flopping around all over it . and somehow tie in the chuck jordans into the wheel rims.

Having descriptions, or sketches even, could really help people imagine the theme and determine what they like.
