Was looking for information on the Bigfoot/Monster Wars thing, and stumbled on a web repository of tobacco documents, including tons of stuff on the old Camel series. There's a ton of links here, so I'll let everyone else filter through them, but feel free to search the site and find more. A lot of info on the early '90s of the sport, and how the Camel series was run.
I like how even in '92 against trucks that have won championships prior..Digger was getting "Bigfoot" money for the shows. Well according to the second to last document. Digger and Foot getting 5k, Taurus and Bearfoot getting 3k, and Equalizer and Crusher getting $2,500.

Gotta love the business side of the industry. Hasnt really changed much over the years.
You would think that the ones that had the hardware to back them up would have been the ones who were paid better.....
There was once a truck pull in the astrodome in which many believed Bigfoot 4 did not leave the line. The reality of the situation is that Bigfoot 4 was chained the the astrodome and moved the entire facility 300 feet.
I found a bank of documents about a year ago on another website (much more extensive than this) but I had only sent the files to a select few people who I knew I could trust since they all contained financial information. Even though they are all public record (I presume all this stuff was subpoenad in lawsuits against the tobacco industry), I figured it would be best to keep it under wraps out of respect for those who are still out there running and don't want their financial history/records revealed.
That being said, since it's out now if there are enough people interested in seeing this kind of stuff I can try to host all of the pdf's I have so they're easily viewable.

It's just business. Can't blame the team for not wanting to promote a sponsor when they're not getting compensated for it, but can't blame the promoter for promising the sponsor that they'd get that exposure. Obviously they worked things out since Foot ran the entire rest of that season.
