heck man it's not too late to pursue it, everything so far that I have done is with just over a year of experience and while working a full time job, and sure I don't get paid or I didn't at first and I don't think you should expect too, you are right you got to work on a monster truck and for me everything I do just goes straight to the resume and that is payment enough. Even though some teams that I have built a relationship with do pay me for my services it's usually enough to at least cover my travel, and if they don't do that then they lodge me or even just get me a meal before I hit the road back home and all of that is fine by me. I would do the job for free if it would pay my bills, lol but if it's what you want to do my advice to you is to just start pursuing it and don't look back!!

Forgot to mention, my story was from 1991. Im now 40 with a wife and 2 kids, truck payments and a mortgage. Makes it a lot harder just to take off and help someone without getting paid.

That's what's up man. We might not all get along all the time, but stories like these are the backbone of why we love this whole monster truck thing. Don't worry about the trolls who would like to correct every little thing; you're excited you got to live it. Good luck to you.

Good Luck Dude. Great to hear your story. Just a tip though. Remember this industry is full of backstabbers so just be careful. Good Luck!!!

Thanks, I would like to think that I have met a lot of the good people involved with the industry although like anything else there are rotton apples out there and I know who some of them are and appreciate your advice.
