Is the Hot Wheels Super Trucker rare? I saw one in a store when I was about 12 and my mom wouldn't buy it for me. I am looking to buy one now and everywhere online is way to expensive. this is one of those obscure Hot Wheels trucks that is based on a ride truck

Yes. It has been out of production for about 10 years now. So it's pretty rare.

I was assuming that. I wonder what possessed them to make it?

Unlike over 75% of other hot wheels monster jam trucks, Super Trucker only had 1 style and was never re-issued. It did have a couple packaging variations, but nothing on the truck that I'm aware of. It's a tough one to get for collectors new to the game. Still, it's not excessively over priced. You can get one for between $10 - $20 ebay if you're patient.

Super Trucker was made in both 2003 and 2004. 2003 had small white tires 2004 had large chrome tires.

Would not call the Super Truckers rare, but "hard to find's".....
Real rare trucks are seldom for sale, the Super Truckers are showing up on eBay now and then...
Loose trucks: depending on their condition: $3 - $10
Unopened on card: $8 - $15 (for a mint truck)

Both wheel variants came out with different tailgate variants

I have a small wheel variation on card that I'd probably part with.
