I have a question for all you hard body guys. What do you use to fill in scratches in the body? And how would you paint a body that has already been painted?

An already-painted body will need to be stripped and repainted.

How should I strip it? And what's a good body filler? It has a bunch of body post holes

Most hobby stores have putties and fillers for plastic models that would work perfectly on the hard bodies. As far as stripping, there's spray on chemicals most body manufacturers sell to remove paint. If all else fails, brake fluid. Just be careful and don't let it sit for too long on the body, you may melt it.

Well I tried the brake cleaner....and ruined the body. Now I have to sand the whole body and the bed is doomed. Next time I'll just do that first and just paint over it

NEVER use brake cleaner, or acetone, on anything that's ABS plastic. You'll only do damage.

It was brake fluid, not brake cleaner, that you should have used. You can leave a hard plastic body in brake fluid for days without harming it. Brake cleaner will instantly start eating it up.
