steve, i allways have something in the works. lol . i am just not sure what i am going to work on next.
I see your not the only one who uses AMT Models! I'm gonna be making the old Bigfoot #10 Cruiser from 1992-ish. I'm still making the 35th Anniversary Model first.
Some of my latest projects. The monster has a mostly scratch built frame and I'm working on tying the cage into it. The mudder has Rockwells, a way too big engine, 54" swampers and soon to have flat navy grey and shark teeth (like the old planes). Everyone's stuff is looking good as usual...

Both look awesome! The beadlocks are really cool. Unless its a secret can you give up some info on how you made the beadlocks?
Thanks for the compliment! For the beadlocks (I assume the bogger) I used a dremel and cut off the back of the original wheel (the swampers come with WELD racing wheels, which are cool but I wanted old school wagon wheels w/beadlocks). When ya cut closely enough to the outside of the inner part of the rim, it makes that chrome donut which i simply glued to the outside of some custom backspaced (one wheel hollowed out, then glued to another wheel) wheels I made. Even on my 1:1, I run 15 inch wheels w/ 37s and it looks proportionally correct (not to mention the ability to air down to 6 PSI). Only on a monster truck do 20"+ "rims" make sense! Let me know if you guys want more pics on these trucks and I'd be happy to post them! BTW, the swampers are actually 49x21 and not 54s. My bad.
