Aluminum framed MT?

    A question. I'm totally drawing a blank. There was a MT built that used aluminum for the majority of it's structural parts: frame, axles..

    I seem to recall it didn't hold up well and remember seeing a picture of it with a broken axle. What was the name of that truck? Thanks.

    Hey there.
    I think the truck was the 2nd version of Buffalo Tremor. As I understood, it did fairly well for a truck of that era. People, please correct me if I'm wrong.

    Are you referring to the MT with Aluminum planetary parts (knuckle) ?

    I think even the housings were fabbed out of aluminum, but could be wrong. The picture I recall (on my head...) it definitely had as snapped knuckle, so possibly

    Matt Heady the trans guy built one w custom alum knuckles planetary setup.
