KISS
Alice Cooper
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Social Distortion

Jeez, where do I start? There's so much that I listen to It would be very difficult to list everything. I'll probably just list some bands, since songs are a little too specific, and so many bands have great songs. Here we go.

Obsolette (a local band)
Black Sabbath
Rainbow
Iced Earth
Exodus
Testament
Metallica
Megadeth
Slayer
Blind Guardian
3 Inches Of Blood
Helloween
Death
Annihilator

Razor
Judas Priest
Armored Saint
Pantera
Exhorder
Iron Maiden
Motorhead
Venom
Overkill
Possessed
Sepultura
Kreator
Dark Angel
Sodom
Destruction
Laaz Rockit
Social Distortion
Accept
Quiet Riot
W.A.S.P.
Dissection
Death Angel
Misfits
Cannibal Corpse
Obituary
Morbid Angel
Entombed
Forbidden
Dream Theater
Joe Satriani
Opeth
Symphony X
Queensryche

Nuclear Assault
Vinnie Moore
Tony Hallinan (guitar player and composer of backing tracks used for monster truck videos, lol)

This is just a sample of all the stuff I listen to. I haven't even gotten to the real underground stuff yet. I'm as big as a music fan, about as much as I'm a motorsports fan. They're both really close.

This is a good thread. I really like that quote by Ace, if I had to sum up my life in 2 words - automobiles and music - that would work quite well for me too man.

Now... I'll try to keep it brief and limited, these are really the groups that have had the biggest influence on me as a listener and as a person. Without music, life would be pretty dull and quiet around here.

Rage Against the Machine - the band that truly hooked me on music, I'll never forget when I first heard Killing in the Name, way back in the day on mtv. I had the pleasure of seeing them on my 23rd bday, probably the best gift I'll ever get for my bday.

The Doors - L.A. Woman
Megadeth - Rust in Peace - the first cd that I owned, welcome to metal young son.
Machine Head - anything from the Burn My Eyes album
Incubus - The Warmth, or anything from the SCIENCE and Make Yourself albums

TOOL - The Pot, Schism, Lateralus, Forty Six and Two, Stinkfist, Sober and many others. TOOL, in my opinion, as well as A Perfect Circle, have been one of the most innovative and rock solid acts since their inception in 1990.

Dredg - somewhat little known band out of California, I've been rocking with them for years now and usually try to follow them on tour when they around my area. I literally like almost every song this band has ever made, if that makes a fanboy... then I guess I'm a Dredg fanboy. Albums El Cielo, Catch Without Arms, and The Pariah, the Parrot, the Delusion are the highlight albums.

That's good enough for now. Overall I consider myself to be a metalhead, and I go to as many concerts as possiblle. Good times, and good thread.
