I brought my camera to the show, but was only able to get about a dozen pics from the pit party before it crapped out. It's fine now, so I don't know what happened. Anyways, thought I'd share my less-than-exciting pics.

Look at those shocks up front! Yeesh! This thing really needs to be saved. While I think the Arel's have got a great thing going with their Monster Spectacular tour (especially the Big O show!), I wish they'd take better care of their older stuff. Just imagine if Hammer Time, Spare Time, Superfoot, Son of Goliath and Top Gun were restored (or, at least in working order) and were doing car crush exhibitions. *Sigh*...

Well, it's certainly in better shape than any of Arel's other leafers.

IIRC, Hammer Time was one of the first monster trucks I saw in person at the '92 USA Motorsports show at the SkyDome in Toronto. Interesting that it can be a small world in the monster truck industry, too.

I suppose it's worth a try, but it seems from other attempts to buy other gems from their collection that they were quite unwilling to part.

Previously owned by Jeff Burse (Towasaurus) I'll have to ask my crew guy Brian about its running gear as he also runs with Jeff from time to time and he had the truck whent hat picture was taken.

Brandon, really you had never heard of even seen Hammer Time when it was around? As Paul stated the truck was from Howell, Michigan and originally started life as Wasted Wages if I am not mistaken. It was a purpose built monster and eventually became a ride truck.

It was built about '92. I have never heard of it being Wasted Wages before though.
