I'm passing this on from Monster truck collectors. If you didn't know, Hot Wheels is going to make old school style trucks in 2012! So far they've posted photos of a 70's+ ford, a 88 Chevy as well as it's preceding body style.

If you look at the archives, you can find a few new modern trucks as well, but you'll have to look and see which ones yourself.;)

That's awesome! No if they can just get the tires back to scale.

Exactly. I was tired of their 1/64 perspective the day they came out. These are boss though.

One of those resins looks like Bigfoot III, the others look like Bear Foot and 88/90 Taurus. All three would be tricky if they don't have the rights to them(Bigfoot and Paul both have those rights held tight too).

If they go with real trucks, my guesses would be Awesome Kong II and Heartbeat, the bodies they show look just like them.

Though I still want to see them do the original Cyclops again, been wanting that one for a while now.

Well, it's been a while since there's been something specific in the die cast aisle that I've wanted to buy. Look out, Wal-Mart!

This is some news that I can appreciate! Does FELD/Hot Wheels own the rights to any of the old school trucks that this community is aware of, or will they have negotiate with some of the current rights holders?

Could it not be possible (and, perhaps most likely in my opinion) that they'll simply be making up their own names and themes for these trucks?

    Samson
    Son Uva Digger
    Crushtation or however it's spelled
Grave Digger 1.. I can't imagine they'd do another Legend truck, I imagine the Ford body painted black and green
I think it's Taurus, but it could be Bearfoot. Perhaps maybe the old school Carolina Crusher?
While I would love to think that the Ford is a Bigfoot, the glaring point is that there's no cutout for the engine... so I have to presume that's not it.

I personally hope that two of the Oldschoolers are AM PM Rocket and Boss or Ecology Eliminator but i'll settle for OG USA-1 or OG Wild Hair
O yeah Heartbeat or Hammer Time would be appreciated
