Anyone else think seeing an MT on Pass Time would be awesome? I know SIR put TMAXX on Pinks All Out, but among all the other oddball stuff you see on Pass Time, I think seeing an MT on there would be just awesome.

If they did that they couldn't run it out to the quarter. I've seen the results from when a run to the 300 ft. mark flat dragged went wrong, and it's not pretty.

never gonna happen. i think the closest was the first War Wizzard. that truck might have had a chance as it was created from the eyes and brain of drag racers

Not only would I like to see some monsters on another show for the simple fact of exposure of the sport and potential sponsorships that could follow..........

BUT, I would like to see multiple trucks attempt at the speed record. Something like what they did with the Long Jump contests. I think it would be interesting to see who thinks they have the fastest truck, as well as it could draw in some of the drag racing fans too.

Try new things, be open minded, you never know what it can bring you.

They already have these types of events where the object is to flat track and not go over jumps. They're called Monster Jams.

    Pinks all out

We did in deed do it, we have the footage here in the office.

We all do our fare share of different things to keep in the groove, it is just getting the proper media coverage and availability.

Just like the Pinks thing, we did it, we covered all the expenses and all else. And now what happens, it got cut short, so in the long run should we continue to try?

    Good Luck

In reference to the speed record.

Would the new radial tires hold up and be more stable at speeds than our current tires? Just curious.

I've heard Paul Shafer claim that he's had a Monster Patrol over 100 MPH, now I dont know how balanced monster truck tires are, but in a car with unbalanced tires, 100 will shake you apart, I'd hate to see how a monster does at much any speed above 65.

Clever;), but not exactly what I was thinking. I'm talking about straightline flat drags type stuff. Taking monsters to a dragstripe and hauling ***.

I heard Scott Douglas announce during the World Finals a few years ago that some of the trucks were going around 75 or higher, now if that was true, we all seen how well the trucks handled(atleast until the turn).

I know HBR and the Nitro Fish/IceMan team tried speed tests before, the results of that I was never really informed about but they did go pretty fast from what I heard..

Paul can claim he drove 100 mph, but I doubt any of his trucks could reach those speeds, possible the Bear Foot that broke the ET record, but thats about it.

and Brandon, I think people should keep trying, because sometimes that hard work will pay of in the long run. And if it doesn't, atleast you can feel a type of self accomplishment or trying..

I think you mean "special Events Jamborees" . its usually a drag race to a finish line THEN go over the cars

he record is 84MPH by War wizzard i believe but then again thats only cause not may others hve been interested in breaking the record. im sure with 1500 horse power that you could get them trucks over 100 without much effort. now the problem is that the tires are ratedfor like 35Mph. That is the biggest issue as fa asi can see

Exactly what I'm referring to. 86 MPH. Spun out and killed 40 ft. of concrete wall. Still among the most amazing things I've ever seen out of one of these trucks.
