Any ideas or thoughts on what is to become of the restored TNN?
Is this syndicated?
We'll see what happens - looks very "CMT-ish" to me right now - after some quick research, the company who is bringing TNN back was founded in 2008, they bought the rights to the TNN Logo and name in 2010, so it looks like they have no ties to CBS/Viacom, who owned TNN since 1997 before turning it into Spike. Looks like there's no affiliation to the original owners (Gaylord Entertainment) either, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. I'm not going to count any chickens, that's for sure.
It will not be like CMT at all...leaning more upwards a GAC meets RFD tv type of channel... Basically what TNN originally was except now it will be progressed.
I've already been in contact with them on various shows. Monster trucks are a big possibility!
Ummmm...from what I saw on TV news other day...Guy that orginally owned TNN is one that started this channel up again.
As a kid, the guitar head that was the original logo, I always thought it was a Christmas tree. Of course all I watched there was trucks and tractor power.
i assume it will be a separate channel from Spike(old TNN)
Correct - it has nothing to do with Spike, the former TNN or its parent company (CBS/Viacom).
I am actually very excited about this: hope trucks and Tractor Power (MTs) come back on that channel (hmmmm Motor Madness revival anyone???
Separate names with a comma.
