If you've ever wondered what track construction would look like if an electronics company was trying to promote it...

...and, non monsters, but what a save:

From what I recall the straight line racing at that show was by accident. Something about the show prep went wrong, and they had to make do, so straight line racing it was.

That kind of remark is pretty routine for Mayhem.

Put APL-365's under just about any chassis and most drivers could do what Meents does on two wheels. Just sayin'. . . . . . . .

Thanks for posting my video for me. Idk why it's all warped at the beginning. Had to stabilize it so you guys could see it :D. But it was one **** of a show.

If it's that easy then why doesn't every driver do it?

Because APL-365's are very hard to come by and Tom pretty much has the market on all of the parts for them in this country? A posi type differential truly allows the truck to do things that a normal open diff can't do (crazy saves) and also what a locked diff can't do (turn tight). As far as saves go, Team Scream is one of the very few teams to run lockers front and rear and you see the kinds of saves that they do with their trucks. Tom's a great driver, I'm not taking that away from him, but a lot of the wild saves and moves he does (driving while upside down, on the sidewalls, etc) would be impossible without the axles that he uses.
