Where is Everyone?

All,
I am revisiting this forum after many (6+) years of inactivity. Is the industry dead? There is hardly any inactivity here any more! I took a quick peek at The Monster Blog and noticed the schedule was very sparse! Has Live Nation consumed all?

Everyone is one F Nut Book. Possibly Steven can link this form to it??? This form has been around 20 something years.

 

Thought I'd chime in just for the heck of it. I wish this place still had the amount of traffic it used to have about 5 (or more) years ago, but unfortunately it seems to be more convenient to just do everything on Facebook, Twitter, etc. and truthfully I find it disappointing. I would much rather support this forum than a proverbial "Kwik-E-Mart" big social media platform any day of the week.

Shout out to Steven for keeping this site up and running, in face of the inactivity on here (myself included, haven't posted since 2012) Still haven't forgotten this place though. Had so many fun times here...

 

I check in about once a month to see if anyone posted. I'm not on Fakebook. I prefer forums anyway, so this is sad. I miss this place being active and the dead-for-years MonsterTruckCollectors forum.

Charlie Wagner, who runs a Jeep in the tough trucks lives pretty close to me and jumps on from time to time to post videos of his runs, which I enjoy seeing. I usally go see him (and monster trucks) run live at The Buck twice a year.

 

Wow I miss MTC! After that big website crash I feel as if it never recovered..
Alas the days of treasure hunting those little Hot Wheels at every store, great times growing up

 

I thought this site died. I've been in a Facebook group run by Phil ever since MTC crashed.

 

Is that crazy old German guy still collecting like crazy? MadRat, that was the name!

 

With F nut book getting hacked, this place I like to think is def safer. Not much info to swipe... "standard fare MT has 66" tires" we all know that.

 

fakebook ruined all these forum sites. ive been in facebook purgatory for weeks, i get more done without it

 

I still come here every so often. Bummed about the lack of traffic thru here, guess FB took a lot of it. Not a FB member either.

 

If I could figure out how to post pictures from my phone I would update my build, there needs to be a easy way

 

I miss this site and MTC

 

I just joined today to see what's around and talk to people not involved with FB. I'm looking forward to see where this goes. I hope the forum can build back up.

 

Wow, I had thought this site had closed down, quite surprised to find activity emails when I went to my old addresses and cleaned out emails.

 

I'll try to post exclusive stuff on here that FB won't see. Maybe coax a few people over here in the process.

 

Would be a great idea...force people to come here to read your content.
